Ever since my first trip to Europe as a teenager, I have had a passion for travel. Since then, I have had some unforgettable experiences: bathing in Budapest's thermal baths, ascending the Swiss Alps on the world’s steepest cog railway, cheering on the Tour de France cyclists as they rode into Paris... And my wanderlust keeps growing!

I have an M.A. in English with a concentration in creative writing from North Carolina State University. I teach English at an international school in London, where I live with my husband and our daughter.

My poetry and travel essays have appeared in print journals and online magazines, including flashquake, Wanderlust and Lipstick and Travelmag. I also maintain a blog, entitled Accidentally English, about life in England.
